Partner hubs. Empowered by Jigsaw.

Collaborate with Jigsaw to drive scalable, systemic change for people with disability.

Jigsaw has a simple vision for the future: an Australia in which people with disability are fully included in the workforce. We are a social enterprise that provides an innovative pathway to mainstream employment for people with disability. By embedding a comprehensive skill-based training program within our commercial business, Jigsaw supports people with disability to achieve their employment goals.

A partnership model to create employment outcomes for people with disability in your community

The NDIS and disability employment sector are under reform. Over the coming years, disability service providers will be evaluated on their provision of individualised, outcomes-based services which afford genuine choice and control, dignity and respect.

Jigsaw is seeking partners to be at the forefront of this welcome change. With five successful hubs (Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Canberra), Jigsaw has a proven model. Through our partnership framework, we support mission-aligned employment providers to deliver this model and create employment outcomes for people with disability in their communities across Australia.

How does the partnership model work

We advise the partner with all aspects of launching their “empowered by Jigsaw” service and delivering the “prepare for work, through work” employment pathway. This includes community engagement and intake processes, building out staffing and resourcing models, setting up a digitisation (or other) social enterprise, as well as Jigsaw’s full work skills training curriculum and training resources.

Jigsaw receives payment for advisory and operational services. Jigsaw supports partners intensively for the first two years, to ensure full understanding and successful set-up of systems and frameworks.

Since 2014, Jigsaw has supported more than 1200 people with disability on their pathway to mainstream employment at award wage. Of those employed or transitioned into employment by Jigsaw, 91 per cent retain their position to this day, outperforming existing disability employment models.

Success stories.

The ’empowered by Jigsaw’ partnership model has been successfully rolled out with two partners.

Macarthur Disability Services (MDS) has launched Livelihood in Western Sydney, and Kirinari has launched Rise in Albury Wodonga.

Macarthur Disability Services

“Our partnership with Jigsaw has been nothing short of transformative. From the very beginning, their team demonstrated a profound commitment to ensuring our success in bringing Livelihood to the people of South West Sydney. From the outset, it was clear that our shared vision to assist people with a disability to gain real and lasting employment would provide a solid framework on which to plan and establish Livelihood.”
